Brief description: Training programme implemented in cooperation with the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) and funded by the European Commission with the aim to enhance the awareness of non-competition national enforcers (judiciary staff and law enforcement staff) in competition matters.
Where: Brussels
Language: English
Target audience: Prosecutors or judges managing or conducting investigations in economic and financial matters, as core daily tasks. When referring to judges, it is worth mentioning that it is applicable only in jurisdictions in which these professional profiles carry out these investigative activities.
Reimbursement: Accommodation and subsistence are provided by the project. The travel costs will be reimbursed after the event.
Exclusion criteria: EJTN will be organising a series of 8 ad hoc training sessions on EU competition enforcement as well as 3 study visits to the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission in Brussels. Each participant is allowed to attend not more than one training session. Additionally, they will not be allowed to attend study-visits if already attended the training session.
